Meeting the Spanish representatives from the Spanish Embassy in Latvia as well as the Spanish representatives from the Economic and Commercial Office of the Spanish Embassy in Lithuania was a very rewarding and enriching experience from the perspective of understanding what the main economic, tax and social incentives are for Spanish entrepreneurs and clients to trade and invest in Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania with the principal aim to set up a company or a business in the Baltic region.

In this regard, it was very useful to observe how business development and research for new clients really works in practice, which gave me an opportunity to work on potential cases with Spanish companies within our law firm in the future. In this respect, I would like to shore up that they were happily astonished by the wide range of legal and tax services by Gencs Valters Law Firm along the fact that not only do we work as lawyers in its strict term, but also as legal consultants in the opening and following-up of businesses settled down in the Baltics.

As conclusion, as these Spanish representatives provided me with many practical and inspiring insights on how to better approach Spanish clients and companies which may be interested in being present in the Baltics, I do think that these types of meetings entail very positive mutual benefits, and therefore, we will certainly start exploring possible collaborations with them very soon.
